Inspire 2024

SEMESTER TWO Sleep Study: Our Year 12s dove deep into the fascinating world of sleep science during the Turner Institute Sleep Incursion! They explored brainwaves and physiological responses while sleeping.

Physical Education Excursion: VCE Physical Education students visited Latrobe University's Sport Science facility to undertake a Strength and Power Laboratory session. Here, our students participated in a range of strength and power focused testing, utilising sophisticated timing apparatus, force plates and computer based analytical software to further enhance their understanding of the training methodology used to improve athletic performance.

Working Hard: At this time of year our Year 12 students are completing their Unit 3 & 4 studies, wrapping up coursework and final assignments. They are also intensively preparing for the upcoming VCAA examinations, which determine their ATAR scores. Students are revising key content from the year, practicing past exam papers, and seeking feedback from teachers to refine their understanding. Many are also attending revision seminars or study groups to sharpen their exam techniques.

Last Day of Year 12: We proudly celebrated our Year 12 students on their final day of school! The day kicked off with a fantastic breakfast prepared by our Food Technology team, followed by their traditional farewell parade through the Learning Street. Afterward, the students headed into the city for an afternoon of fun, including bowling, laser tag, and lunch at Melbourne Central. It was a memorable day as we bid farewell to this incredible cohort. Congratulations, Year 12 — we are so proud of you!
