NEW PRODUCT: THE LONG TRAVEL EXTENSOMETER What it is : An attachment which measures changes in length of an object. It can be equipped on any MMS or MMD material test stand. What it’s good for: Strain measurements and tensile tests of elastomers, plastics, or any material that is highly elastic in nature. What makes it special: The long travel extensometer is capable of recording changes in elongation over a much larger range of motion than standard extensometers. Why that’s important Highly elastic materials which are capable of producing large amounts of elongation before reaching a point of structural failure can now be more accurately tested.

NEW PRODUCT: RAPID CHANGE SPRING TEST FIXTURE What it is : An attachment which goes on any FMS test stand that is designed for testing spring load. What it’s good for: Spring manufacturers who produce a wide range of spring sizes and tensions. What makes it special: The design allows operators to rapidly switch between test springs and load cells. Why that’s important: Inspection down time is cut dramatically, making it easier to catch costly scrap in real time.
