Pregnant patients with other health conditions such as diabetes and obesity are at even higher risk.

The vaccine can reduce your risk of ICU admission, using a ventilator, or dying.

DO I QUALIFY FOR VACCINATION?

PREGNANT WOMEN Pfizer - BioNtech mRNA Vaccine 12 + Years and older A 2-dose regimen

Moderna mRNA-1273 Vaccine LACTATING WOMEN 18+ Years and Older A 2-dose regimen Given 1 mo apart (28 days)

Given 3 wks apart (21 days)

WHAT I NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE VACCINES

mRNA vaccines are not live viruses and cannot give you COVID-19

mRNA vaccines cannot cause any genetic changes in you or your baby.

Expect mild side effects from your body’s normal response to the vaccine including: - fever - chills - body aches - headaches - sore arm from injection

Each woman’s situation is different. Please discuss your personal situation with your provider to decide if the vaccine is right for you.
