The Grace and Peace of Our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all! I am very glad to learn that a supplement is being published in connection with the Installation of His Grace Most Rev. Joseph Mar Gregorios Metropolitan to the dignity of Catholicos of the Jacobite Syrian Church by His Holiness Ignatius Aphrem II, the Venerable Patriarch of the Syrian Orthodox Church of Antioch and all the East on 25 March 2025 at St. Mary's Cathedral, Achane, Beirut, Lebanon. On behalf of the Catholic Church in Kerala we extend our hearty congratulations and prayerful collaboration with the new Catholicos of the Malankara Jacobite Syrian Church, His Beatitude Baselios Joseph Thirumeni! We joy- fully appreciate the fraternal collaboration of His Beatitude with the Catholic Church in Kerala and gratefully acknowledge his cordial discussions and dialogue with us. We see in His Beatitude a personality of great theological insight, the humane quality to understand others, readiness to move with the people to share their woes and difficulties; thus, ex- tending the loving and caring hand of Our Lord Jesus Christ. Being the President of the Kerala Catholic Bishops' Council, I extend the hearty congratulations of the Catholic Church in Kerala and offer our earnest prayers that His Beatitude may gracefully initiate a new era of Christian Love, Charity and Hope, among all the Christian denominations.
