It is an inspiring news that His Holiness the Patriarch of Antioch (Ignatius Apprem the Second) has announced that His Grace Joseph Mar Gregorius (The present Malankara Metropolitan) would be ordained as His Beatitude Catholicos Baselios Joseph First. As I knew Joseph Mor Gregorius for about a quarter of a century, I am fully aware of his qualities of leadership and ability to steward the community with abun- dant capacity for crisis management..
