I am very happy that the ordination of His Grace Joseph Mor Gregorios Metropolitan as the Catholicos of the Jacobite Syrian Christian Church is taking place at Lebanon on the 25th of March 2025. My hearty felicitations. I sincerely thank His Grace for inviting me to be a part of this auspicious ceremony. Though I was very much looking forward to attending this event I informed my regret to join His Grace on this occasion as the date of the event falls in the month of Ramadan during which time I will be in Mecca. At the same time, I will pray for His Grace on the day of the ordination ceremony and will also personally meet on a convenient date and time after the ceremony to pay my respects and to convey my hearty best wishes. It has been a great blessing and privilege to maintain a very close rela- tionship with His. Grace for the past several years. We have met on sev- eral occasions in India as well as during the visit of His Grace to the UAE. The elevation to this esteemed position is a testament to the unwavering faith, dedication and tireless service of His Grace for the welfare of the church and its faithful. I am sure the spiritual leadership, wisdom and compassion of His Grace will continue to be a great blessing and guiding light to the church and for the poor and the needy.
