Originally from Los Angeles, CA, Lauren now calls sunny San Diego home. Lauren graduated from Cal Poly, SLO, with a degree in Graphic Communication, focusing on User Experience/ User Interface Design, and a minor in Integrated Marketing Communications. Before joining VETgirl, Lauren gained valuable experience in the veterinary industry at PetDx, where she contributed to social media campaigns, graphic design projects, and email marketing efforts aimed at educating pet owners and veterinarians about the importance of early cancer screening for dogs. She loves the challenge of making complex information accessible and engaging for everyone.

Outside of work, Lauren loves spending time outdoors, whether it’s at the beach or on a hike. She enjoys reading and trying out new baking recipes. She also likes exploring local coffee shops. Lauren draws inspiration from her two childhood dogs, Dodger and Ollie, who remind her daily of the importance of compassion and care in the veterinary field. She is excited to contribute to VETgirl’s mission and looks forward to helping enhance veterinary care for both pets and their owners.
