To make the cruise even more rewarding, JourneyView is an interactive timeline that lets guests scroll through all of the events available on board during their voyage and bookmark activities they’re interested in to their own personalized itinerary. Other facets and benefits of the device include: easy payment for merchandise, drinks, shore excursions and other on board services; interactive games that can be played on portals across the vessel and the top deck ‘Movies Under The Stars’ screen, including trivia challenges and a ship-wide digital scavenger hunt. There’s a selection of casino games available via guests’ smart devices and select portals with parental controls. In addition, MedallionNet – claimed to be the fastest Wi-Fi at sea - allows guests to stay connected anywhere onboard including staterooms. It also allows them to share holiday experiences with friends and family back home; stream TV shows, films and sports events; plus make voice and video calls. Crown Princess became the first UK-based ship to feature the OceanMedallion last summer and guests embarking this Brit-popular ship this summer can look forward to enjoying the benefits of this new gadget.
