Stepping aboard you’ll appreciate your superb floating luxury hotel with its spacious and well- appointed cabins or suites, private bathrooms, and meticulously-prepared fine cuisine. From Budapest, journey north to Esztergom; spending the morning exploring its historic centre, before continuing westwards to the beautiful old town of Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia. Navigating through Lower Austria to the romantic town of Dürnstein, where Richard the Lionheart was imprisoned. Then visit the monastery in Melk, with its 200m-long Emperor’s Gallery of portraits. Arriving in Linz; discover its baroque old town on a guided tour or, alternatively, take the short drive to Salzburg to tour the old town and the Hohensalzburg fortress. Classical Vienna; home of Strauss, wonderful architecture, and the Spanish riding school is up next. Arrive back in Budapest for a guided city tour and a final dinner hosted by the Captain on board.
