Morning Clubs

Brass Ensemble Years 3-6 (All abilities)

Chamber Choir Years 5-6

Brass ensemble is open to pupils in Years 3–6 who learn the trumpet, French horn, trombone and tuba. The main aim of this ensemble is for the children to appreciate the enormous fun to be had making music with others. Children learn the skills needed to play in a musical group as well as to develop confidence and technique. The group perform in assemblies and concerts throughout the year.

Chamber Choir is open to all pupils in Years 5 and 6 who enjoy singing and wish to develop their voices with a more challenging repertoire. Pupils in Chamber Choir will need to commit to two rehearsals per week, after school on a Monday and before school on a Tuesday. The children will be encouraged to read from a vocal score and lead the singing in our masses as well as perform at a number of events throughout the year including the Years 5 and 6 Carol Service, the Christmas Concert, the Easter Choral Concert and the Senior Summer Concert.
