Film club is a new venture for creative children in Year 3. The children will work in small groups and learn how to storyboard and script a short film, and how to compose shots successfully. They will learn a brief history of film-making and then go on to create their own stop-motion movies.
Hockey Club pupils will experience in-depth coaching on team play and set pieces as well as individual techniques. Pupils will cover: defending, goal scoring, passing, pressing, positioning, ball control and elimination. There will be opportunities to play games in club time and to represent the school. It is an environment where pupils can look to challenge themselves to learn new skills including how to be a valuable team member, with skills such as communication and leadership. Please note Year 6 hockey collection is from the College at 5.10.
Lego club is about fun with the emphasis on working together as a team to construct one large piece of work. We work on projects that are large scale so that all the children play their part in the construction.
