Sights and Sounds of Cardi2 and South Wales
Explore the vibrant and cosmopolitan city of Cardi4 as well as some free time in Cardi4 Bay. We also take a ride on the Brecon Mountain Railway, one of the Great Little Trains of Wales and spend some free time in Brecon in the afternoon. Day 1 Following collection from home, join the coach for a leisurely drive to Cardi4 arriving at The Angel Hotel for our four-night dinner, bed and breakfast stay. Tea/co4ee and welsh cakes will be served on our arrival. Day 2 Today we have the day free to explore Wales’ exciting capital. This vibrant and cosmopolitan city has undergone enormous regeneration over the past decade or so, its traditional attractions like the fairy tale castle are now complemented by the iconic Millennium Stadium. Alongside the high street shops and department stores there is a selection of lovely Victorian arcades containing a wide array of specialist shops and designer boutiques. Day 3 After a leisurely breakfast we make our way through the Valleys to the little village of Pant and enjoy a ride on the Brecon Mountain Railway, one of the Great Little Trains of Wales. Afterwards we make our way to Brecon for a short break with chance to enjoy a drink and bite to eat before we return via the Brecon Beacons National Park to Cardi4. Day 4 This morning we visit the Royal Mint which puts 1000 years of history into combining the finest craftsmanship with modern techniques to make coins and medals for over 60 countries. See how the coins in your purse or wallet are made, a fascinating visit. Later we leave for a short ride to Cardi4 Bay and you can see first-hand the exciting new developments taking shape. There is plenty of opportunity to explore and relax with a drink and enjoy the views over the bay. Day 5 After breakfast we leave and begin our journey home.
