The Greater Reading Cham- ber Alliance (GRCA) drives economic development in our community and has played a role in bringing many new businesses to the area and providing them with the re- sources that allow them to become bigger, better, and more efficient. Our business community is exceptionally proactive and interconnected, which makes it easier for your business to find and take ad - vantage of new and profitable opportunities. Grow and Thrive in Greater Reading When Brentwood Indus- tries, a second-generation family business, that special- izes in thermoplastic molding and engineered plastic sys- tems, needed a new facility in Greater Reading, GRCA was ready to help. GRCA facili- tated a grant to assist with the infrastructure improvements needed as well as a low-inter- est loan for the construction of a new plant. CarbonLITE Industries LLC, a California-based company and largest producer of food- grade post-consumer recycled PET in the world, was seek- ing an East Coast location for their third and largest facil- ity. GRCA connected the dots for the company at the state and local level in addition to ongoing support throughout the decision-making process, construction of the facility, and the startup of operations to en- sure the project is successful in Greater Reading.
