Prior to join - ing IEC, DeMalo was senior vice president for Laboratory Services and Business Devel - opment at EMSL Analytical, Inc. in Cinnaminson, NJ, where he spent 25 years co- ordinating and implementing expansion strategy, business development and overseeing the laboratory technical opera- tions. A published writer and presenter on industry-related topics, DeMalo co-authored “Internal Standard Addition Method for Identifying As- bestos Containing Materials In Bulk Samples Containing Low Levels of Asbestos.” His expertise has been showcased at many events and national conferences over the years, most recently to include pre- sentations on asbestos mea- surement methods at the 2019 American Industrial Hygiene

Association (AIHA) National Conference, PFAS in drinking water and asbestos inspection training at the 2020 Pillar to Post Brand Conference as well as the new OSHA silica rule at the 2019 Southern California Joint Technical Symposium Annual Conference, which had a shared audience of attendees from AIHA and the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP). At IEC, DeMalo will provide expert consulting ser- vices while actively working to grow and expand the company in several areas, including staffing, breadth of services and territories served.
