2023 WPRA Elections 2023 is an election year for the following circuits and Board positions Badlands, Great Lakes, Prairie, California, Turquoise and Roping Director. In 2023 only, members will have a choice to submit their nomination and election ballots either digitally or in hard copy form, so be sure to pay attention to that and have your voice heard in your Association. Please note it was approved at the December Board meeting to add a second Roping Director to the Board. Therefore, the top two nominees will appear on the election ballot for the circuit positions, where 1 will be elected; while the roping will have the top four nominees on the election ballot with the top 2 vote getters being elected. Below are key dates to keep in mind during the nomination and election process: • On or about January 12, 2023 - Nomination ballots sent to eligible WPRA members electronically - Please reference rule 3.1.1. in the 2023 WPRA Rule Book Hard copies mailed no later than January 16. • Monday, January 30, 2023 , by 5pm MT- Nomination ballots (paper and electronic) due back to the election vendor - Please reference rule 3.1.1. in the 2023 WPRA Rule Book. • Wednesday, February 1, 2023 , by end of day- Nomination ballots certified by the election vendor. Nominated candidates are contacted the following business day - Please reference rules 3.2.1 and 3.2.2. in the 2023 WPRA Rule Book. • On or before Monday, February 13, 2023 - Election ballots sent to eligible WPRA members electronically - Please reference rule 3.3.1. in the 2023 WPRA Rule Book. Hard copies mailed no later than February 16. • Monday, March 6, 2023 , by 5pm MT- Election ballots (paper and electronic) due back to the election vendor - Please reference rule 3.3.2. in the 2023 WPRA Rule Book. • Wednesday, March 8, 2023 , by end of day– Election ballots certified by the election vendor. Candidates notified on March 9, 2023 – Please reference rule 3.4.1. in the 2023 WPRA Rule Book For more information refer to the WPRA Rule book or contact the office.

Rule of the Month Memberships received in the WPRA office between January 1 and February 1 will receive a late fine of $25. After February 1 the late fee increases to $50.
