We operate the Bankhead Theater in downtown Livermore and feature live performing arts events including concerts, speakers, comedy, dance and more.
Serving our community for over 20 years, Mill Creek Academy is a full- service educational program meeting the needs of student academic achievement. Offering enrichment courses in all academic subjects as well as test preparation for grades 2 through 12, we are committed to helping students succeed. We also provide college admissions guidance to help students maximize their potential in the college process. “Mill Creek helps with planning your upcoming coursework and extracurriculars to maximize college success. HFA’s activities involve (a) making Hayward’s teachers, residents, businesses, artists, parents, students and community leaders aware of the visual and performing arts program it supports; (b) organizing fundraising and administering. “The HFA program has produced such regional and state recognition that when the pandemic shutdown closed schools and state funding was lost, district leadership ordered budget cutting, but ‘Don’t cut arts funding.’” —Matt Wayne, Superintendent
