SIM ® -40
SIM ® -40 is a 40 mil composite underlayment consisting of a rubberized sheet membrane laminated to a high-strength reinforcing fabric on the face and a release sheet on the adhesive side. PROFLEX ® MAXXIM SIM ® -40 is specially designed to be used under approved thinsets, mortars, and adhesives for interior and exterior applications of ceramic tile, stone, and brick, and for interior applications of wood flooring to eliminate the transmission of cracks. Other applications also may be suitable. Contact Technical Support for further information. To eliminate cracks in the finished floorwork, the product should be applied to the entire substrate prior to the installation of the finished flooring. Not recommended around pool decks. Liquid Applied Crack Isolation Membrane
AF-300 (ANTI-FRACTURE 300) is a ready-to-use single-component mold-resistant, liquid-applied, crack-isolation membrane. AF-300 provides a uniform surface with excellent elongation to prevent in-plane cracks up to 3/8” from the substrate to the finished ceramic, porcelain, or stone tile. For residential to heavy commercial applications: interior use only. Advantages: • Low VOC's • Interior use only • Crack isolation up to 3/8" • Cures in 4-6 hours • Apply with a brush, 1” nap roller or trowel • Mold and mildew resistance • Black or White formula Suitable for Use With: Concrete (Poured, prestressed, precast), Cured Mortar Beds, Self-Leveling Compounds, Gypsum Concrete > 3000 psi, Concrete Backer Board, Exterior Grade Plywood, Tile.
