PRO-STICK ® 42 ANSI A118.11 Multi-Purpose Thinset Mortar
PROFLEX ® PRO-STICK ® 42 thinset mortar has superior performance and workability characteristics not found in regular thinset mortars, along with an extended open time. When mixed, it produces a creamy, easy to spread mortar specially developed for the professional tile setter. For commercial and residential use. Advantages: • Exceeds ANSI A118.4 and ANSI A118.11 specifications • Extended open and working time • High strength for a variety of applications Uses: For installation of: Ceramic tile, pavers, quarry tile, porcelain tile, clay bodied tile. For installation over: Tile backerboard, exterior grade plywood, plumb and true masonry, properly cured and finished concrete, gypsum plaster, gypsum block or gypsum board (dry areas-walls only), cured Portland cement mortar, masonry surfaces.

PRO-STICK ® 42L is a polymer-modified thinset mortar composed of lightweight aggregates, sand, cement, dry resins and other proprietary chemicals used to adhere virtually all types of tile, especially large tile units, marble, and granite to acceptable surfaces. Due to it’s lightweight and flexible properties, PRO-STICK ® 42L installations provide higher resistance to cracking up to 1/8” in-plane horizontal substrate movement. PS42L is especially formulated to hold large tile in place on vertical surfaces. PS42L also reduces unevenness caused by the setting of large tile on horizontal surfaces.
