NAIOP New Jersey’s 2020 University Challenge (Case Study Competition) is officially underway! Student teams from Baruch College, Monmouth University, Montclair State University, Rutgers University and Villanova University will present their vision for transforming 24½ Van Houten Street in Paterson. Projects will be judged on financial feasibility, design excellence, resilience and sustainability, and client goals with a $5,000 prize on the line. The winning team will be announced at NAIOP NJ’s Industry Insights Dinner. Site Sponsor Levi Kelman of Blue Onyx Companies is offering the five collegiate teams a real-world opportunity to provide fresh designs with research value for the property. The competition also aims to engage municipal and local leaders with NAIOP student members.
