Chamber Announces Staff Promotion
Sophia van Oss has been promoted to Senior Director, Communications & Design for the Rochester Area Chamber of Commerce. During her time at the Chamber, Sophia has created several new initiatives that support members and our community, including the Shop Local - Holiday Gift Guide and the Rochester Area Community Guide & Chamber Directory. She also recently developed a comprehensive media to highlight the Chamber's advertising opportunities including the addition of website advertising options that to expand digital advertising offerings. Sophia has also been a driving force behind the branding of events, such as Chamber Champions League and Annual Celebration, the redesign of the Advantage magazine and Chamber Resource Campaign Sponsorship Guide, and most recently, the launch of the Chamber's new website.
