Olmsted Medical Center (OMC), has been southeastern Minnesota’s hometown healthcare provider since 1949. OMC has over 1,300 healthcare professionals (which includes 193 clinicians) serving at over 22 locations, including two multi-specialty clinics, a primary care/walk-in clinic at Miracle Mile, a Level IV trauma hospital with 24-hour emergency room, a Skyway Clinic in downtown Rochester, and 11 community branch clinics including Byron and Stewartville. OMC also offers walk-in FastCare and Acute Care clinics. OMC has more than 35 specialties and is best known for its convenient, quality personal care. Each year, the Olmsted Medical Center team sees over 330,000 patients, performs over 4,800 major surgical operations, cares for over 21,000 patients in our Emergency Care department, and delivers nearly 1,000 babies. As the home of both Mayo Clinic and Olmsted Medical Center, Rochester serves as a regional and national center for healthcare. With a sizeable presence of alternative medicine, care-centers, clinics, and heath care related manufacturing and research facilities, Rochester lives up to its alias as “Med- City”.
