Community News C LOCAL CANDIDATE FORUMS BEGIN JULY 11 T he Rochester Area Chamber of Commerce,
League of Women Voters, the Post Bulletin, and the Rochester Public Library are partnering to host a series candidate forums featuring those running for city and county positions in the August 9th primary. These forums can be viewed in person at the Rochester Public Library or online at https://www.youtube.com/user/RochPubLibrary. In-person seating is limited and doors open at 6:00pm. The schedule of the dates and times for each forum can be found on the League of Women Voters website: https://www.lwvrochester.org/ Opportunity to Submit Questions If you are interested in submitting a question for potential presentation in the upcoming candidate forums, please submit your question at www.surveymonkey.com/r/JSBQ36K. With limited time available, not all questions will be used. If your question is not presented, it will potentially be utilized to refine the questions presented. Please submit your questions for school board candidates by Friday, July 8th at 5:00pm. Questions for city and county candidates should be submitted by Friday, July 15th at 5:00pm.
