Boats punting along the river and university students cycling around the city are probably the images that spring to

More than 40 venues across the city have signed up to the recently launched ‘Ready for You’ campaign which includes a commitment to sustainable practices. ‘Ready For You’ focuses on four key areas that will give event organisers reassurance as they plan ahead. These include enhanced hygiene, flexible booking terms, solutions to help with hybrid events which offer the potential to combine in-person and online attendance and sustainable practices. By participating, venues are demonstrating their commitment to providing these features and flexibility. Outside of meetings, there is a wealth of tranquil, green space for delegates to enjoy around the city, namely the Botanic Gardens. Owned by the university, these gardens host families of flora and its woodland vibe makes it an ideal spot for a post-meeting unwind.
