These types of activities would utilize the proposed turf fields including soccer and lacrosse, as well as multi-purpose indoor courts including pickleball, basketball and volleyball. What sports and recreation programming needs will the RSRC meet? It will meet the demands for indoor and outdoor recreational space that currently is at or over capacity in Rochester. RSRC will also provide state-of-the-art facilities to relieve pressure on access to other facilities and attract more state and local amateur sporting events. Will the RSRC fields, courts, and facilities be available for public use? Yes, the amenities at RSRC will be available to the public. What criteria are being considered for the location of the RSRC? A site of 75-90 acres would be required. Preferrably, this would be near other entertainment, dining, and hospitality amenities. Who will manage and oversee the day to day of the RSRC? Funding, design, location, and other factors must be considered before deciding on operational and management. What will be the primary expenses ongoing for the sports complex?
