Aigles clip Nats over weekend league playoffs.The Panthères also collected a load of trophies and titles for their club showcase including the NCJHL’s Top Defen- sive Team award. Adam Filion was named both the Top Scorer and the Most Valuable Player in the league this year and his fellow Panthers Shawn Ennis, Daniel Cogan, and Dana Pollex each received in that order the Best Defensive Forward, theMost Improved Player, and the Best Goaltender awards. Coach TimKosch of the Rockland Natio- nals was named the NCJHL Coach of the Year for the season while General Manager André Roy earned the league’s Executive of the Year honour. There was no love lost in St-Isidore this past Valentine’s Day weekend when the Aigles hosted the Rockland Nationals for one of the final games in the National Capi- tal Junior Hockey League regular season calendar. The Aigles soared over the Nats 4-2 on the scoreboard with a pair of goals from Jacob Bélanger plus singles courtesy of Mikael Grenier and Jean-Philippe Souligny. Assis- ting on the goal-scoring for St-Isidore were Bélanger, Grenier, Dominik Henrie, Frédéric Laflèche and Nicholas Souligny. Sean Ville- neuve guarded the Aigles’ net. Paul Armstrong and Patrick Johnson accounted for Rockland’s pair of goals with assists from Miguel Crispin and Nickolas Spirito. Goalie Corey Camirand kept watch inside the Rockland net. The Embrun Panthères took the league regular season championship title for 2015- 2016 as NCJHL officials now prepare for the

Reporting to the Director of Infrastructure and Planning, the Manager of Development has the responsibility of a full range of professional land use and planning functions. The incumbent must supervise, plan, prepare andmonitor the budget for the Planning Division. These responsibilities include making recommendations to the Director and City Council. Emphasis is on providing professional advice regarding land use matters and the administrative responsibilities of the Department.

Le titulaire doit, superviser, planifier, préparer et assurer le suivi budgétaire pour le service de l’aménagement du territoire. Ces responsabilités comprennent aussi la formulation et la présentation de recommandations au directeur et au conseil municipal. L’accent porte sur la capacité de fournir des conseils professionnels en matière d’aménagement du territoire et de la planification ainsi qu’aux responsabilités administratives liées au service. Le titulaire du poste supervisera l’aménagement du territoire courant et à long terme, les demandes de révisions en matière d’aménagement, certaines initiatives de développement économique et la révision de permis de construction. Exigences : • Le candidat doit être titulaire d’un baccalauréat en urbanisme ou dans une discipline connexe; • Être un membre de l’Institut canadien des urbanistes (ICU), de l'Institut des planificateurs professionnels de l’Ontario (IPPO) ou urbaniste professionnel certifié (UPC), est un atout; • Un minimum de cinq (5) années dans un rôle similaire est requis, trois (3) années d’expérience connexe en gestion des employés est un atout; • Excellente connaissance pratique et théorique des principes d’aménagement au sein d’un environnement municipal, et des documents juridiques connexes à la profession (c.-à-d., Loi sur l’aménagement, Loi sur les municipalités, Déclaration de principes provinciaux, plan(s) officiel(s) et règlement(s) de zonage et des principes d’ingénierie); • Excellentes aptitudes en communication, tant verbale qu’écrite, dans les deux langues officielles du Canada, soit l’anglais et le français; • Compétences en informatique, ce qui inclut le traitement de texte, tableur MS Excel et logiciels de base de données; • Connaissance approfondie des théories et principes d’aménagement acquis dans le cadre des études et d’une expérience de travail.

Requirements: • The candidate must hold a University Degree in Planning or closely related discipline; • Be a member of the Canadian Institute of Planners (CIP), the Ontario Institute of Professional Planners (OPPI) or Registered Professional Planner (RPP) is an asset; • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a similar role is required, three (3) years of relevant experience in employee management is considered an asset; • Excellent practical and theoretical knowledge of the Planning theory and principles within a municipal environment, and the legal documents associated with the profession (i.e. Planning Act, Municipal Act, Provincial Policy Statement, Official Plan(s) and Zoning by-laws and engineering principles); • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, in both official languages of Canada (English and French); • Computer literacy, which include word processing, MS excel spreadsheet and database applications are required; • Thorough knowledge of Planning theories and principles through education and work experience.
