March 27, 2025 Dear Kappas of the Southern Province,
Welcome home to the birthplace of the Southern Province of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. seventy- five years ago! And, hearty congratulations to the Jacksonville Alumni Chapter on its Centennial Anniversary! You are looking great – just as handsome, stronger, bigger, more impactful in your endeavors and illustrious in your achievements! The four hundred and fifty plus financial Silhouettes of the Southern Province welcome you and thank you for your love and support throughout the years. We are because you are! As we have worked alongside you , as your official auxiliary, we have been proud to support you and your efforts on every level, while forging our own bonds of friendship, fellowship and service. We invite you to review the 2025 Southern Province Silhouettes Program Booklet for highlights of our work together in our local communities. You will no doubt enjoy a successful and productive Council, deliberating on ways to stand in the gap for our people in these very challenging times. Our rights are being attacked on every side and we must be vigilant, resilient, resistant and action -oriented advocates and leaders. Now is the time and we are the ones that must step up to carry the baton that our ancestors passed on, having suffered many indignities including loss of life. Enjoy your visit to Jacksonville, Florida. O ur sunshine, great restaurants and beautiful beaches are sure to make your time here memorable!
