we would need any policemen to watch people? No, indeed, we would not, for they would love Jesus in th e ir hearts and would no t w ant to do anything th a t was wrong. Saul was ta u g h t the Bible every day, and he began as a little boy, and then when he had studied his verses for th a t day, he would be ta u g h t th e trad e he was learning, which was making tents. T ent making was a good business in th e city where Saul lived. Of course Saul’s p aren ts were Jews, and Saul was very care fully train ed in th e Jew ish faith. Saul was proud of his city, and he always let th e people know he was a Jew. When boys and girls do th a t which is rig h t they are no t ashamed to te ll about th eir fam ily and th e town in which they live. Saul learned his Bible so well and all th e different things th e Jewish boys had to do th a t he did no t break any of th e Jewish laws. So we see th a t Saul was a very busy little boy. -Of course Saul was no t ta u g h t to believe on Jesus because he was a Jew ish boy, b u t all th e things he was ta u g h t he did. He remembered them in his heart! Let us learn our memory verse. “Thy word have I hid in mine h eart, th a t I m ight not sin against th ee.” If we hide God’s word in our hearts, we will no t do any th ing th a t Jesus would no t w ant us to dp. We w ant to learn our lessons and do our work ju st th e best we can as boys and girls, so we will grow up to be useful men and women, and we should learn the Bible so we will be Christian men and women. Closing Prayer.

all the nice rich cream and m ilk we can drink. Today we are going to h ear about a boy who grew to be a wonddrful man, and he was raised in th e city, so we must remember th a t a very large num ber of boys and girls have to live in the cities these days, and th e re are many nice things in th e City too. Let us bow our heads and th a n k th e Lord for our homes and paren ts and all He has given us to make us happy. Lesson Story.— Our story today is about Saul When he was a boy. Now I wonder w hat kind of a boy Saul was? He lived in a city by th e name of Tar sus, and th is city was on th e seashore and also on th e river. You boys and girls would ' have liked . th a t I know. Do you th ink Saul ever w ent down to th e beach to play, or w ent fishing on th e river? Yes, I th in k he did, al though Saul did no t have as much tim e to play as you boys and girls do, for he was a Jewish boy. At -the tim e Saul was a boy, every boy had to do two things. He had to learn th e Scriptures, which is the Bible, and learn a trade. So you see when we are repeating our Bible verses each Sunday morning here which we have learned a t home during th e week, we are doing ju st th e thing God w ants us all to do. A long, long tim e ago God spoke some words to the paren ts telling them how careful they should be to teach th e Bible to th eir boys and girls, and no t only to teach them th e Bible b u t to ta lk about th e wonderful things God does for us. If all th e p aren ts in th e world would do this, and all th e people lived as th e Bible tells them , to live, do you think
