Driving Growth

After three years of consistent growth, we entered this year with high expectations. While global challenges such as elections, wars, and government schemes slowed us down, it’s still been a year of significant achievements for Trueline as we continue to lead in our field. From an EWI perspective, we’ve invested heavily in new machinery, reducing reliance on imports and improving stockholding flexibility. These investments have enabled the business to increase output and capacity whilst allowing Trueline to offer private label products to the EWI market. While the Roofline Closure Systems has yet to fully impact the market, its potential is undeniable, and innovative solutions like the Thermoflash insulating trim is already gaining traction. Trueline's bespoke fabrication service has had another successful year working with new customers and several large scale projects. The Elephant and Castle project in London has allowed the business to show its full capacity. This marked a first for Trueline with offsite assembly fabrications hoisted into place on-site. The addition of the balcony package on the same project has further reinforced our reputation. We also secured and completed a fast-paced turnaround with McMullen and Midgard for the Sackville Road project, solidifying Trueline as a reliable manufacturer in the JRL Group supply chain. A special mention goes to Eden Facades for their stunning work on the Runnymede project. This year saw the launch of two new divisions: Trueline Laser and Trueline Trims, which are becoming key parts of the business. Chris Pearson has driven Trueline Laser forward, bringing in new clients and materials, while Paul Macdonald has spearheaded the launch of Trueline Trims, backed by new tooling investments to ensure competitiveness. Our commercial team has also grown stronger. A big thank you to Richard Smith and Charlie Macaulay Collins for stepping into leadership roles, and a warm welcome to Jake Sprague and Branden Garey, who has joined to support site surveying. As we move into the new financial year, I’m excited to continue working with our team and customers to drive growth and innovation. Thank you to everyone—our team, our customers, and the business—for the support in helping us achieve our shared goals.

Here’s to an even stronger future!

Investment, Innovation, and Building for the Future

This year, Trueline has focused on strategic investments and operational advancements to enhance our capabilities and continue delivering excellence. Section Rolling Growth The section rolling side of our business has undergone significant transformation with the introduction of two new machines and a boost in management expertise. These advancements have enabled us to bring previously imported processes in-house, creating new roles and enhancing our manufacturing portfolio. A key addition to our team is Jamie Willey, whose wealth of knowledge in section rolling strengthens our operations further. Streamlined Processes at HQ This year, we’ve enhanced our operations at HQ through strategic process improvements and targeted investments. The implementation of our Fabrication Management System (FMS) has streamlined workflows, boosting efficiency and precision, while our significant investment in External Wall Insulation (EWI) machinery has expanded our fabrication capabilities. These advancements allow us to deliver exceptional quality, faster turnaround times, and greater flexibility, reinforcing our position as an industry leader ready to meet evolving market demands. Investing in Our People This year, we launched the Trueline Talent Pool, a platform to nurture talent across all ages and backgrounds. It allows team members to collaborate with senior management to map out their career paths.

Internal promotions have also been a highlight, with Guiseppi Marcarelli leading our paint line days and Chris Shand advancing from warehouse operative to branch coordinator in Scotland. Paint Line Developmen t Continuous investment in our paint line has laid the foundation for achieving Qualicoat certification, a significant milestone we’re set to reach in the coming months. Looking Ahead to 2025 As we prepare for the new year, I’m excited about the opportunities the acquisition of new land brings. This purpose-built hub will set us apart in the industry, enabling us to invest in additional cutting-edge machinery such as lasers, punch presses, press brakes, and welding facilities, fostering further growth and innovation. Reflecting on the past year, recruitment has posed challenges, but the dedication and commitment of our team have been pivotal to our success. I’d like to thank everyone for their incredible efforts. I look forward to the year ahead with excitement and optimism for what the future holds for Trueline. Together, we’ll continue to grow and innovate, driving the business to even greater heights.

Community at the Heart of Everything We Do

At Trueline, our community value is the heart and soul of who we are. As a family-run business, that family spirit runs deep, extending beyond the workforce and into every interaction we have. It’s something you can feel, whether you’re walking through our doors or picking up the phone. As head of the Business Support Team (BST), I see this community spirit firsthand every day. Our front-of-house reception is often the first touchpoint for visitors and callers, and it’s a pleasure to witness the warmth, care, and respect the entire Trueline team shows to every guest. Our commitment to providing the best customer care and service sets us apart—we’re not just a manufacturer; we’re a team that truly values connection. Our dedication to the community extends far beyond the office. Over the past 18 months, I’ve had the privilege of being involved in our fundraising efforts for KEMP Hospice, an incredible local charity providing essential care and support to those who need it most. I’m proud to share that the Trueline team has raised an impressive £22,569.60 to date, directly contributing to their invaluable services. Seeing the impact of our efforts fills me with pride and reinforces the importance of giving back to the community. But it doesn’t stop there. Trueline is also proud to support local athletes and sportspeople, helping them achieve their goals in their chosen fields. It’s just one more way we show our commitment to lifting up those around us and fostering a spirit of teamwork and support. I feel incredibly blessed to work for a company that cares so deeply—not just about its employees and customers, but about the wider community as well. It’s an honor to be a brand ambassador for Trueline, representing a business that leads with values and makes a meaningful impact.

Community isn’t just part of what we do at Trueline - it defines who we are.

Driving Quality, Safety, and Sustainability

Trueline has continued to raise the bar in quality, health & safety, facilities, and environmental commitments, building a stronger, safer, and greener future. Quality Excellence Our focus on quality remains steadfast, with continued improvements in internal and external audits to meet and exceed standards. Working with DNV, we successfully retained our certifications for ISO9001, ISO14001, and ISO45001, ensuring our processes align with the highest industry benchmarks. Investments in our paint line include upgraded tank wash systems and additional demineralised spray rings, all part of our journey toward achieving Qualicoat certification. To enhance product inspection and testing, we’ve implemented additional controls and assigned dedicated supervisors, ensuring consistency and excellence in every product we deliver. Looking ahead, we’re building a purpose-built laboratory to strengthen our quality initiatives further. Health & Safety Commitments We are deeply committed to the health and safety of our workforce. Monthly committee meetings, external consultants, and proactive training have been pivotal. Recognizing the importance of mental wellbeing, our management team has undergone Neurodiversity training, and senior leaders are now certified Mental Health First Aiders. Environmental Progress Our commitment to sustainability is stronger than ever. Partnering with Auditel, we are tracking historical carbon usage to map out our journey to Net Zero. Steps include transitioning our fleet to hybrid and electric vehicles and introducing a waste management program that incinerates general waste to generate green electricity.

Facilities Enhancements Trueline has upgraded key aspects of our facilities, including: • Replacing all fluorescent lighting with energy- efficient LED lights. • Phasing out asbestos materials and replacing old guttering with new plastic alternatives. Additional Environmental Efforts Include: • Implementing waste segregation and recycling schemes. • Exploring solar panel installations at HQ. • Planning for a green, purpose-built facility by replacing outdated buildings with sustainable structures. • Considering options for treating processed waste liquid to minimise environmental impact. As we continue to innovate and invest, Trueline remains steadfast in our mission to be leaders in quality, safety, and sustainability. These initiatives not only strengthen our business but also reflect our commitment to a greener, safer future for our workforce and community.
