FUREMA ist extrem haltbar und zugleich nachhaltig, was völlig neue Anwendungs- möglichkeiten schafft. Das faserverstärkte Hybridmaterial wird zu ca. 60 % aus Reis- hülsen, zu ca. 22 % aus Steinsalzen und zu ca. 18% aus Mineralöl hergestellt. Dieser Aufbau macht es zum Einen umweltverträglich, zum Anderen extrem widerstands- fähig gegen äußere Einflüsse wie Sonne, Regen, Schnee oder Salzwasser. Dabei ist es pflegeleicht und sowohl optisch als auch haptisch kaum von echtem Tropenholz zu unterscheiden.
FUREMA is extremely durable and sustainable thus providing for new scopes of appli- cation. The fiber-reinforced hybrid material is made of approx. 60% rice husk, approx. 22% common salt and approx. 18% mineral oil. This composition makes it environ- mentally compatible and extremely resistant against environmental conditions such as sunlight, rain, snow or saltwater. At the same time it is easy-care and can hardly be distinguished from genuine tropical wood in look and feel.
