Manometer is used to measure pressure drop across exhaust filters to indicate the condition of the filters.

3.8 a Ir s olenoId v alve The function of this valve is to interrupt the supply of compressed air to powder application equipment under certain conditions. This is done to prevent powder coating from occurring when powder booth is not operating as designed or if any booth doors are open (if equipped). Air solenoid valve is electrically interlocked with powder booth exhaust fan(s). If the optional switches are purchased, it is also interlocked with product and personnel doors (if equipped). If fan is not operating, or if a door (if equipped) is open for longer than a few seconds, air solenoid valve will shut off flow of pressurized air to powder application equipment. The unit should be installed down stream of any regulators and filters and upstream of powder application equipment. It should be located as close as possible to fitting to which the powder application equipment connects in order to insure rapid loss of supply pressure. 3.9 p oWder e xhaust F Ilter p rovIng a sseMBly This assembly addresses filter loading in powder booth requiring filters be monitored.
