ICCR is a unique conducting competition where conductors get the rare chance to actually work with numerous orchestras over a longer period of time. After live selection rounds one year prior to the competition, 6 conductors will enter a training program, that ends in the competition where they each work with 5 different orchestras on different genres and stylistic periods. Each round consists of multiple rehearsals and a concert.
