Founded and supervised by the Chang Yung-Fa Foundation, the Evergreen Symphony Orchestra (ESO) is distinguished by its outstanding professionalism and team spirit. The orchestra offers exceptional performances of classical music while fostering young musicians and cultivating a perspective that is both rooted in Taiwan and open to the world. From 2007 to 2023, the position of Music Director and Chief Conductor was held by Prof. Gernot Schmalfuss. In November 2024, the ESO announced that renowned international conductor Jaap van Zweden becomes Artist- in-Residence of the orchestra starting in January 2025. The ESO has collaborated with numerous renowned musicians, including conductors Helmuth Rilling and Michiyoshi Inoue; tenors José Carreras, Plácido Domingo, Luciano Pavarotti, Andrea Bocelli; sopranos Renée Fleming and Sarah Brightman; violinists Cho- liang Lin, Mayuko Kamio, Yu-chien Tseng, and Richard Lin; pianists Robert Levin, Pi-hsien Chen, and Lang Lang. Expanding its performances beyond Taiwan, touring Asia, Europe, and America, the ESO is bringing Taiwan to the world, connecting our island with the global community, and will continue to share Taiwan’s music and culture with the world.

Fazioli Pianos has been producing grand and concert grand pianos since 1981, when the company was founded by the engineer and pianist Paolo Fazioli. Passion for music, great artisanship, continuous technological research and strict material selection: these are the elements required for building a Fazioli piano. FAZIOLI refuses any industrial approach to manufacturing and pursues the objective of uncompromised quality. The factory is located in Sacile, in the Province of Pordenone (60 km Northeast of Venice) in an area boasting an ancient and prestigious tradition in the art of woodworking. The success of a company which today is not just considered an authentically “Made in Italy” brand, but a brand in the truest sense of the word, is confirmed by the presence of FAZIOLI pianos at the world’s most important institutions for piano training of the highest level.

Founded in Milan by Baroness Dorothy Lanny della Quara in 1952, it is the Italian branch of JM International (Jeunesses Musicales International), an international organization created in Brussels in 1945. This organization includes around 50 countries worldwide with the common goal of promoting music, especially among young people, regardless of culture, race, or language. JMI’s activities are vast and range from classical music, which is its foundation, to jazz, folk, ethnic music, and the most recent musical expressions. Gioventù Musicale operates nationwide through its branches and is among the major Italian musical organizations in terms of outreach and the number of initiatives realized (over 160 concerts every year). The primary aims of the Institution are to spread music and musical culture, especially among young people; to promote and support young musicians; and to cultivate the audience of both the present and the future.
