• FILTER INBOARD SEAM Double lock seam prevents any leakage between the threaded base plate and filter can. • SPIRAL CENTER TUBE Tin plated steel is used for maximum flow and structural strength. • RELIEF-SAFETY VALVE Designed to by-pass oil flow if media element were to be blocked. • COIL SPRING Steel tension spring holds filter element against the cartridge to prevent leaks and maintain the filter cartridge in place. • ANTI-DRAIN BACK VALVE The nitrile seal check valve prevents any reverse draining of filter from engine when required by O.E. specs. • FILTER HOUSING All filters are 0.5mm or more in thickness to withstand any excessive pressure build up.
