Growing, Expanding, and Staying True to Ourselves The big news: Polar Latitudes and Albatros Expeditions have joined forces and are now operating under one name, Polar Latitudes Expeditions, beginning with the summer 2026 Arctic season. This merger offers an exciting opportunity, as well as an important responsibility – to stay true to what has always made us both special: being companies that people genuinely want to travel with and work for, and emphasizing a shared spirit of exploration and discovery with everyone on board. As Polar Latitudes Expeditions, we can now offer more places to explore, more cabin options and amenities, and more itineraries – reaching life-changing destinations in Antarctica, across the Arctic, and beyond. Our combined fleet includes four exceptional vessels, from the classic expedition-style Ocean Nova to the future-forward Ocean Albatros and Ocean Victory, as well as our beloved Seaventure, which boasts one of the highest ice ratings among passenger ships. Together, these ships represent some of the lowest per-passenger carbon footprints in polar waters. What’s not changing are the things that matter most: our highly trained and experienced team, our focus on maximizing time off ship, and our commitment to protecting the environments and communities that make these journeys possible.

Every polar season is special, but this one promises to be extraordinary. We hope you’ll join us on this great adventure.

John McKeon Founder, Executive Chairman, Polar Latitudes Expeditions

More Time Exploring No one offers a more immersive polar experience. Weather permitting, we’ll have you off the ship and exploring twice daily, for an average of six hours each day. From kayaking to camping, from hiking on foot to soaring overhead, everything we offer will bring you more intimately engaged with these incredible polar environments. A More Experienced Team Our expedition staff return season after season, bringing with them an average of twelve years’ experience. You’ll explore with polar veterans who know the regions intimately and can adjust to weather and ice conditions without interruption, ensuring unforgettable moments day in and day out. More Personalized Experience We offer a range of expedition ships, from ultra-modern to classic expedition style, with a wide choice of cabins, features, and amenities. Carrying between 80 and 178 guests, our ships maintain a guest-to-team ratio of between 7:1 and 8:1 – ensuring a small-ship, highly attentive experience on board, on the water, and on land. More Comaraderie From expedition team to onboard crew to fellow explorers, there is an unmistakable sense of connection both on board and off. Guests often say it feels like a family. You’ll join kindred explorers, sharing unforgettable moments, exchanging photographs and stories, and returning home with more than just memories – maybe even with new friends for life. More Positive Impact Like any good guest, we believe in leaving the places we visit better for having been there. That responsibility begins with one of the industry’s lowest carbon footprints and extends to meaningful engagement with the local communities we so depend on. A pioneering Citizen Science program, local scholarship initiatives, and cultural exchange with remote Inuit communities are among the efforts fundamental to our polar commitment. All Penguins Are Created Equal – All Voyages Are Not Browsing travel companies’ websites or brochures, the similarities are hard to miss: sculptural icebergs, majestic glaciers, abundant wildlife, dramatic mountains, and fascinating native communities. And honestly, those highlights will be there regardless of who you travel with. But that doesn’t mean all experiences will be the same. Here’s what you can expect from us:

ABOUT POLAR LATITUDES EXPEDITIONS

An Expedition Team That’s Extraordinary in Multiple Ways Working in the polar regions demands a rare combination of skill, experience, and adaptability – and our expedition team brings all of that, and more. Beyond their deep expertise, broad range of talents, and enthusiasm for the places we visit that quickly spreads to everyone around them, they are quick to respond to changing weather or ice patterns, while always keeping an eye toward the next unforgettable opportunity. They also happen to be some of the nicest and most welcoming people – the kind you’ll enjoy exploring with by day, and sharing stories, meals, or an evening cocktail with after.

Gert van Dalen joined us as Expedition Leader in 2024, bringing with him a long and storied relationship with the natural world. Ever since he was young, Afrikaner Gert has displayed boundless curiosity towards the intricate relationships between biota. After graduating from the oldest technical high school in South Africa, he pursued his dream of working closely with wildlife. By age 20 he was managing his first game preserve, combining his two greatest passions – exposing people to nature’s greatest wonders, and safekeeping the same. In 2018, he traded Land Cruisers for Zodiacs, and has been sailing from pole to pole ever since.

Lori Gross brings a diverse background and set of skills to her role as Assistant Expedition Leader, including over two decades working in sustainable tourism and education, a thriving career as a photographer and guest speaker, and a travel resume covering all seven continents. Lori’s list of accomplishments includes securing major funding for magnet schools, designing interactive exhibits for nature centers and museums, developing field studies for teens, and winning several prestigious photography awards. But her greatest love remains Antarctica, and sharing it with all our guests.

Meet Some of Our Team In addition to their extraordinary

knowledge and experience, our team members are incredibly fascinating individuals, hailing from many countries, wttith diverse backgrounds, talents, and stories to share. Here are some of the Expedition Leaders who may be leading your next great polar adventure.

Danny Edmunds has worked as a photographer, diver, travel writer and Expedition Leader in some of the most remote parts of the world. He’s driven Zodiacs in every ocean, radio-tracked Spectacled Bears in the Ecuadorian Andes, surveyed horse-mussel beds off the Llyn Peninsula in North Wales, and updated the Bradt Guides to Mozambique and Spitsbergen. Danny spent 16 months living south of the Antarctic Circle working as a Boating Officer at Rothera, the British Antarctica survey base, and has twelve seasons’ experience aboard ships in the southern Ocean. Should you find yourself in a Zodiac with Danny, you’re have lots to talk about.

Maria Cashin has a deep love for the outdoors, and mountains in particular, that has taken her around the world for more than 30 years. Originally from the maritime province of Newfoundland, Maria earned a degree in Geology from the University of Calgary, and is a member of the Association of Canadian Mountain Guides. She has also owned and operated her own mountaineering company, Yamnuska Mountain Adventures. In 2012, she combined her professional qualifications, extensive guiding skills, and geology background to join the polar expedition industry, much to the delight of our wide-eyed guests.

Hannah Lawson has been sharing her love of birdlife and marine mammals aboard expedition ships since 1999. After studying zoology at the University of Liverpool, she worked as a wildlife artist and muralist in Africa for several years. Hannah later gained her Masters in Natural History Illustration from the Royal College of Art in London, while leading projects with the British Trust for Conservation Volunteers. She continues to pursue her art while working for us as a wildlife guide and expedition leader.

ABOUT POLAR LATITUDES EXPEDITIONS

Anthonie Luteijn is a passionate polar guide, surfer, and life-long ocean lover. His deep passion for travel has taken him around the world, and he particularly enjoys the diversity of different countries and the fascinating people he meets along the way. Anthone grew up in the southwestern part of the Netherlands, after which he moved to Delft, where he completed his Master’s Degree in Hydraulic Engineering at the Technical University of Delft. He has a coastal specialization, which embraces a great interest in Oceanography. To Anthonie, the ocean is a diverse and endlessly fascinating place that feels likje home.

Luyang Zhao joined us as Assistant Expedition Leader in 2019, and is now a highly skilled Expedition Leader. Born in Beijing, China, Luyang moved to Chile with his parents when he was still a teenager. He studied Cultural Tourism at the university there, earning his MBA, but soon discovered his dual passions when he began working as a translator and guide in the polar regions, where he could flex both his leadership talents and natural people skills. Luyang has a strong passion for the history of both Antarctica and the Arctic, and is fluent in English, Spanish and Mandarin Chinese. On board, he prefers to be called “Lu.”

Tania Jeken joined us 2024, but has been shining as an Assistant Expedition Leader ever since. Her passion for travel has taken her to more than 138 countries over the past twelve years, and in this time, her career has continually grown and developed, leading to her current role, sharing the fascinating polar regions with wide-eyed guests on behalf of Polar latitudes Expeditions. Tania was born in Cape Town, South Africa - and grew up on a farm in Herbertsdale along the Garden Route, where she developed her deep love for nature and the outdoors.

Maximiliano Gohde , born and raised in Ushuaia, has been working exclusively for us since 2023. His relationship with Antarctica began as a child, since his father worked for USARP aboard the M/V Hero, and would often share stories of the White Continent. Maximiliano’s fascinating past includes jobs as a snowboard instructor, a firefighter, and a helmsman on a motor sailing yacht. By the age of 26, his career path finally brought him back to Antarctica, and his passion for this untouched part of the world grows stronger with every journey. While his primary role is that of a guide, he is also well-versed in botany, birds and marine mammals.

Diego Punta Fernandez has worked exclusively with us since 2019. Diego is an avid birder and naturalist with more than a decade of polar experience. A resident of Patagonia, he has a long history of guiding groups to the most isolated and unique places in the world, such as Argentina’s El Chaltén, the Norwegian fjords, Svalbard, Greenland, Iceland, and Antarctica. Diego has developed many conservation projects in South Patagonia, and even finds time to run his own publishing company, 49Southphoto, which has published several guides to the flora and fauna of Patagonia, Antarctica, and the Arctic regions.

Nate Small makes his annual migration between Antarctica and the Arctic, following the Arctic Terns around the world each year. A veteran of nearly 100 polar voyages, Nate never tires of sharing his enduring passion for the natural world with our mesmerized guests. He is enthusiastic about all forms of wildlife (though he remains convinced he has close relatives in the whale family). An entrepreneur devoted to all things marine (and especially whale) related, Nate is co- founder of Marine Guide Training, and a co-owner and operator of Seasmoke Whale Watching in British Colombia. He is also an accomplished carpenter.

ABOUT POLAR LATITUDES EXPEDITIONS

Being Responsible at Sea, and Good Neighbors at Home

12

For us, responsible travel means a lot of different things, like:

΄ Minimizing our environmental impact wherever possible , which we accomplish, in part, with one of the lowest carbon footprint-per-passenger ratios in Arctic waters. ΄ Onboard programs like our Green Initiative , which prioritize sustainability, biodegradability, and widespread use of recycled products. ΄ Supporting environmental NGOs with travel and logistical support throughout the year , and giving our guests a chance to engage in their own meaningful research through our pioneering Citizen Science Program. ΄ Giving back to the communities we so depend on , through education and internship programs, fundraising, and participation in local clean-up efforts. ΄ Engaging with and supporting the remote communities we visit , to foster better understanding of cultures unlike our own.

13

ABOUT POLAR LATITUDES EXPEDITIONS

A Responsibility That Extends Well Beyond the Bow of Our Ships We travel to some pretty amazing places, but we never lose sight of our responsibility to give, and not just take, from the incredible lands and people we so depend on. This responsibility is most acutely felt in Ushuaia, the southernmost city on earth, and our home port for the duration of every Antarctic season. Working with regional schools to develop scholarship and internship programs, engaging with international universities in post-graduate studies related to the polar cruise industry, supporting local, sustainable sources, and a ground team that is 100% Ushuaia- sourced, are some of the ways we’re not just in the community, but an active part of it. That same mutual respect and responsibility continues when we leave port. Visiting Inuit communities in Greenland, we work exclusively with local guides to not only support their livelihoods, but to ensure that we walk their streets and visit their landmarks respectfully. And we engage with local Inuit citizens, who volunteer to share their homes and stories with us, creating better understanding between our diverse cultures. Our smaller ships and lower per-passenger carbon footprint are other ways we respect the fragile environments we visit..

Our Ground Team: There for You, and for the Local Community Our unstoppable Ushuaia-based ground team handle a wide array of critical tasks; among them, ensuring that every aspect of your pre-voyage experience is handled with care, from airport transfer to hotel check- in to pre-voyage Q&A, to getting you to the ship on time and fully prepared. They are also active members of their Ushuaia community, and do an amazing job keeping all of us engaged through the many local programs they organize and support, including all the initiatives mentioned above.

14

Some of the Community Programs We’re Engaged In

Beach Clean-Up in Ushuaia Our ground team works with civic organizations in regularly-scheduled clean-up efforts on local beaches, one of the many ways we participate in local efforts to serve the community. Ship Visits We organize ship visits for a number of local groups, ranging from primary and secondary school students to local authorities, with presentations tailored to their educational needs, career aspirations, and political support. Home Visits with Inuit Communities In an effort to create better understanding of native cultures, and enrich the overall travel experience for our guests and communities we visit, we arrange visits with Greenland community members, who welcome guests into their homes, typically with tea, sweets, and a bit of local lore.

Middle School Challenge with Escuela Julio Verne In this year-long competition, students competing in teams of two are tasked with creating a presentation that is Antarctica-themed, and judged for both its creativity and scientific insight. Winning team receives an internship on a voyage to Antarctica. Career Studies with Universidad de Tierra del Fuego In this post-degree program in development with Polar Latitudes Expeditions, students will have an opportunity to apprentice aboard our ships, where they’ll learn about career opportunities in the polar cruise industry. Supporting Rinconcito Del Fin De Mundo De Ayuda Y Contención We offer support to local women in need, through a range of initiatives, including local events and onboard auctions and raffles to raise money for clothing, food and school supplies for kids.

15

A Pioneering Technology to Both Discover and Protect our Planet’s Most Awe-Inspiring Citizen A sudden whale sighting is bound to be a highlight of any polar voyage. But on occasion, direct whale encounters with ocean vessels can put these marvelous creatures at risk. In 2024, Polar Latitudes began teaming up with Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution to incorporate a state-of- the-art whale detection system on all our voyages. This technology helps us identify whales in our immediate area, increasing your opportunity to experience them up close, while increasing our ability to keep the Seaventure at a safe distance. A 10-Year Partnership with Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution We first began partnering with Woods Hole in 2015, providing cabins and logistical support for their critical research into the evolving feeding and migrating habits of Antarctica’s whale population. Another recently- formed partnership, with Oceanities, is aiding their scientists in efforts to document changes in penguin populations due to climate change. Without the kind of support we provide, ongoing research in hard to reach places like Antarctica would simply not be viable for NGOs like Woods Hole and Oceanities. Our relationship with these organizations not only helps enable their critical scientific research, but also enriches the experience and understanding of our guests, through the presentations and insight they provide.

ABOUT POLAR LATITUDES EXPEDITIONS

Citizen Science: Making a Difference on Every Voyage Citizen Science is a program we pioneered in 2013, as the very first polar operator to officially collaborate with The Polar Citizen Science Collective. Today, we‘re the only Expedition provider that offers this important data-collecting partnership to guests on every voyage. We team up with the collective on several projects, each playing a meaningful role in recording and better understanding the Arctic and Antarctic ecosystems and the impact of climate change. This is particularly helpful in the Antarctic, where we support long-term academic observation teams that would find it nearly impossible to be as ever-present on their own. The projects offered may vary slightly by voyage and scientific need, but all are equally important. Everyone is welcome to participate in any or all of the outings, and we typically hear that it was a highlight of their voyage. If interested , please see the onboard daily bulletin and join the scheduled Citizen Science Introduction Meeting at the start of your voyage. There is no cost involved.

Ongoing Projects

Collecting Data for the South Georgia Big Seaweed Search The aim of this project, led by scientists from London’s Natural History Museum, is to study the seaweed diversity and distribution in South Georgia, assessing threats from climate change and invasive species. Cloud Observations for NASA Globe Observer By observing and recording cloud cover & type timed to NASA satellite fly-overs, we help scientists understand how surface and air temperature are affected by cloud cover, and how clouds respond to a changing climate. Phytoplankton Data for Scripps Institution of Oceanography By collecting phytoplankton samples in fjord systems along the Antarctic Peninsula, we help scientists obtain a seasonal picture of phytoplankton abundance, composition, and distribution, as well as how phytoplankton are influenced by (increasing) melt-water inflow from glaciers.

Seabird Surveys for the Cornell Lab of Ornithology and eBird

The project is building a long-term ecological monitoring program of seabirds in the Southern Ocean and along the Antarctic Peninsula. These recordings help researchers understand how birds use oceanic habitat, to discover new details about the lives of these remote species, and ultimately how their behavior and populations might be changing as a result of climate change. Secchi Disk Study for the Secchi Disk Foundation Measuring Secchi depth, a measure of the depth at which you lose water clarity, is another important indicator of the relative abundance of phytoplankton, critical to Antarctica’s food chain. Using a Secchi Disk, our Citizen Scientists record and report findings to The Secchi Disk Foundation in the UK.

19

A Day at the Poles There’s no ‘typical day’ in the polar regions – every day brings something new – and that’s why we love it! But here is a little taste of what our guests might experience while exploring the polar region.

Early Morning Wake up, surrounded by unique and brand new landscape. As the morning unfolds, early risers begin to stir :some heading for hot coffee and pastries, others to the gym, and a few to the Observation Deck to soak up the view, while the Expedition Team busily prepares the Zodiacs for the day’s adventure. Breakfast awaits in the main restaurant, where a generous buffet offers everything you need to fuel your day.

20

A DAY AT THE POLES

Late Morning Once breakfast is over, it’s time to explore! Activities typically take the form of Zodiac cruises on the water or landings ashore, sometimes in inhabited places such as villages or research stations, but more often in pristine wilderness. For extra variety, optional activities, workshops, and lectures will also be offered.

Early Afternoon After your first exploration, lunch is served in all our dining areas on board, and occasionally in our outer decks. We offer both a la carte and buffet options, with menus changing each day and always including vegetarian, and special dietary options. After lunch, you can relax, soak in the views from our saunas, and slowly get ready for the second adventure of the day!

17:00 - Relaxation Time

Evening Wrapping up the day, you’ll attend the

Afternoon Our Captain has positioned the ship at the next landing site, where guests can once again enjoy a Zodiac cruise and/or a landing to experience the destination up close— perhaps on a longer hike or by meeting locals and learning about polar life.

Expedition Leader’s Recap and Briefing, where you’ll learn the next day’s plans and highlights from the day. Next, dinner time! Gather with other fellow explorers and bond over delicious, ever-changing cuisine, laughter and shared once-in-a-lifetime experiences. Finally, spend a few hours to relax, before retiring to rest, ready for another day of adventure.
