΄ Minimizing our environmental impact wherever possible , which we accomplish, in part, with one of the lowest carbon footprint-per-passenger ratios in Arctic waters. ΄ Onboard programs like our Green Initiative , which prioritize sustainability, biodegradability, and widespread use of recycled products. ΄ Supporting environmental NGOs with travel and logistical support throughout the year , and giving our guests a chance to engage in their own meaningful research through our pioneering Citizen Science Program. ΄ Giving back to the communities we so depend on , through education and internship programs, fundraising, and participation in local clean-up efforts. ΄ Engaging with and supporting the remote communities we visit , to foster better understanding of cultures unlike our own.
