EXPEDITIONS: ANTARCTIC PENINSULA, EARLY SEASON

ANTARCTICA SPRINGS TO LIFE 10 DAYS (8 nights on board) / Nov 2026 Experience Antarctica at its most pristine and life-affirming. This early-season voyage captures the raw, untouched beauty of the continent as it awakens from its long polar winter. In November, the Antarctic Peninsula is quiet and ethereal, blanketed in fresh snow and alive with seasonal energy. Penguin colonies begin their courtship rituals, seals haul out onto ice- strewn beaches, and sculptural icebergs glow beneath dramatic spring light. With fewer ships on the water this early in the season, you’ll feel as though you have Antarctica to yourself. Each landing offers a sense of discovery, revealing a landscape still shaped by winter and just beginning to stir with life. HIGHLIGHTS • Travel during peak whale season: humpback, minke, and orca whales frequently feed and play near the ship, often visible from the Zodiac • Explore bustling colonies of gentoo, chinstrap, and Adélie penguins on shore – now filled with fluffy chicks and busy adults • Step ashore at century-old whaling stations and Antarctic research bases, connecting with the human stories of polar history
