La propuesta presenta dos órdenes: el primero se basa en tramas o retículas, que reflejan el plan de Valparaíso con una volumetría ortogonal que responde y retoma la arquitectura de fachada continua nacida en el esplendor de esta ciudad a fines del siglo XIX y principios del siglo XX. El segundo es una trama “quebrada” que evoca la construcción desarrollada espontáneamente entre quebradas. En su interior y protegido por el borde comercial en primer nivel, un espacio que se vacía, se entrega para lo comunitario. The proposal presents two orders: the first is based on grids or networks that reflect the plan of Valparaiso with orthogonal volumes that respond and follow the continuous façade architecture born in the splendor of this city in the late nineteenth and early twentieth century. The second is a “fractured” grid that evokes the spontaneously developed construction on the ravines. An interior empty space, protected by the commercial border on the first level, is handed over to the community.
