The proposal is based on a space to directly connect the city of San Antonio with its coastline by means of a continuous housing bar, while becoming an entrance milestone to the port city. The different materials perform specific functions: concrete to attach the project to the ground; steel to lower the structural costs and provide flexibility for different building types; and wood for better handling and flexibility for the interior partitions of each dwelling.
Se propone un espacio que relacione de forma directa la ciudad de San Antonio con su borde costero por medio de una barra habitacional continua, la cual a la vez conforma un hito de acceso al puerto de la ciudad. Las distintas materialidades cumplen funciones específicas: hormigón para adosar el proyecto al terreno; acero para un menor costo en la estructura y flexibilidad para construir distintas tipologías; y madera que pueda entregar mejor manejo y flexibilidad para los muros interiores de cada vivienda.
