CONJUNTO HABITACIONAL ESTANQUE / WATER TOWER HOUSING COMPLEX Lucas Calfin, Nataly Cornejo, Juan Doña.
El proyecto se emplaza en el cerro Cárcel de Valparaíso, en las ruinas del estanque de agua más importante de la ciudad, hoy abandonado. Se plantea un edificio híbrido orientado hacia las viviendas para revitalizar y realzar el estanque. La estrategia principal es rectificar un nuevo volumen elevado sobre la preexistencia para reconvertir el antiguo hito. The project is located on the Cárcel Hill of Valparaíso, over the abandoned ruins of the most important water reservoir of the city. The hybrid building is mostly dedicated to housing to revitalize and enhance the reservoir. The main strategy is to rectify a new volume elevated over the ruins to reconvert the old landmark.
