El programa se estructura en tres niveles: cancha, graderías y nivel sobre graderías, además de diferenciar los sectores centrales o neutrales, y los de los diferentes equipos. La rotación en 90° de las cerchas genera un alero protector en el acceso y una larga fachada donde se emplazan las boleterías y los ingresos. El estadio no distorsiona el entorno. La forma cerrada y elíptica permite que el edificio se asome imponente a la avenida con una gran fachada horizontal, que anuncia y transparenta las instalaciones. Este punto de encuentro con la calle se transforma en el principal acceso, tanto vehicular como peatonal, lo que le confiere una creciente presencia urbana y simbólica para la ciudad. La cubierta del edificio sigue la lógica constructiva de un bote, con su costillar, cuadernas y planchaje. De esta manera, la nueva morfología del estadio, además de responder a todos los requerimientos programáticos y funcionales, dota a la ciudad de un edificio emblemático que acentúa la identidad local. The program is structured in three levels: field, bleachers and the level over the bleachers, as well as the separation of the central or neutral sectors from those for the different teams. The 90-degree rotation of the trusses generates a protective overhang over the access and a long façade where ticket booths and entrances are located. The stadium does not distort the context. The closed and elliptical shape allows the building to appear imposing towards the avenue with a large horizontal façade that announces and reveals the facility. This connection point with the street becomes the main access, both for vehicles and pedestrians, offering a growing urban and symbolic presence for the city. The roof of the building follows the constructional logic of a boat, with its ribs, frames and boards. Therefore the new morphology of the stadium, besides meeting all the programmatic and functional requirements, provides the city with a landmark building that highlights its local identity.
