La propuesta arquitectónica, que aprovechó la fachada y parte interior de la casona, se estructura en torno a un patio actualmente abierto alrededor del cual se sitúan los loft, desarrollados en dos pisos. En su interior, gracias a la altura de la casona, cada loft tiene su altillo. La parte posterior de la vivienda, irrecuperable, debió ser demolida. Para recuperar la fachada se aprovecharon todos los elementos existentes en buen estado y se reconstruyeron otros a partir de material fotográfico existente, lo cual permitió lograr gran fidelidad con la fachada original. En lo funcional, se mantuvieron los accesos diferentes para las tres unidades de vivienda que constituían la casa: dos entradas laterales se transformaron en acceso para los loft del primer piso que dan a la calle; el acceso central se dejó como principal y se propuso una escalera en torno al patio, con acceso al segundo piso. Respecto a la intervención interior de la casa, la idea también fue mantener el carácter y estructura general. Las intervenciones mayores fueron básicamente la eliminación de tabiques para crear espacios con una habitabilidad razonable. El resto se reforzó con una estructura metálica, al igual que los altillos. Se mantuvieron, restauraron y repusieron artesonados y decoraciones antiguas. The architectural proposal, which preserved the façade and part of the manor’s interior, is structured around an existing open courtyard surrounded by the lofts. Thanks to the original height of the manor, the lofts are double level. The unrecoverable rear part of the house had to be demolished. To restore the façade all existing elements in good condition were preserved and others were reconstructed from existing photographic material, which resulted in a faithful reproduction of the original elevation. Regarding functionality, the different accesses to the three housing units that composed the house were preserved: two side entrances were transformed into the access to the first floor lofts facing the street; the central access was kept as the main entrance and a stairway was placed around the courtyard, with access to the second floor. Regarding the interior intervention on the house, the idea was also to maintain the character and general structure. The main operations were basically the removal of partitions to create spaces with reasonable livability. The rest was reinforced with a metal structure, as were the attics. Coffered ceilings and antique decorations were maintained, restored and rebuilt.
