Compañeros de colegio y luego en la universidad, la Finis Terrae, al egresar de Arquitectura Diego García de la Huerta, Andrés Echeverría y Mauricio Wood se unieron para formar ADG, el año 2002. High school classmates and later fellow students at Finis Terrae University, Diego García de la Huerta, Andrés Echeverría and Mauricio Wood joined together to form ADG in 2002 after graduation.
Se emplaza en un terreno rectangular de esquina, de 15 m de frente poniente por 40 m de fondo y frente norte, de acentuada pendiente hacia el oriente. Con denso follaje en sus bordes, el sitio cae en su largo y ancho. El partido se desprende del suelo en el largo de la caída y en sus tres niveles contiene la habitabilidad interior, intermedia y exterior. Espacialmente se abre hacia los cerros de Zapallar y a la vez al interior por medio de dos patios longitudinales, que bañan de luz las circulaciones, entregan largos visuales que desahogan los interiores comunes desde el acceso y separan los servicios de las habitaciones, quedando todas al norte. The building is located on a rectangular corner plot, with a 15 m west-facing front, a 40 m north-facing side and a pronounced eastward slope. With dense foliage on its borders, the site dips on both directions. The design pulls away from the ground as it falls lengthwise and in three levels contains the inner, intermediate and outer living spaces. The spatial design opens onto the hills of Zapallar as well as inwards with two longitudinal patios that bathe the circulations in light, provide extended views to relieve the common interior spaces from the entrance, and separate the rooms from the service areas, providing all with a northern exposure.
