Welcome to our 2026 sale offering!
Thank you for your interest and continued support! It is not lost on us that there seem to be as many bulls for sale as there are cows. We know it takes effort to come see what our small operation has to offer! Your continued support drives us every day to deliver big operation quality at an affordable price. With beef demand staying high and consumers realizing the value of our high-protein product, fundamentals are in our favor as cattle producers! We continue to believe that the cow herd drives the profit; cows that breed early and calve routinely are what make it profitable. Since 2002, we have used AI on virgin heifers, followed by one cycle with the bull, and AI on cows, followed by 30 days with the bull. We have seen the benefits of this approach and understand why more outfits are moving in that direction. I think it has let the cream rise ... a large portion of our cow herd can be traced back to about five females. The cattle have all been on a complete vaccination and mineral program. The fall bulls have all passed a BSE exam. We are offering a $200 credit if you take your fall bull home after the sale. The yearling bulls will be kept free until April 1 and delivered after passing a BSE test. Free delivery for the first 300 miles plus volume discounts starting with 3 bulls at 3% and up from there. We have Jim Scheel and Weston Geppert as buyer reps. Jim and Weston are trusted to represent our cattle with you, the buyer, in mind. They offer unbiased eyes, sound opinions, and strong knowledge of diverse cattle operations. When it comes to the work, there isn’t much we don’t do ourselves, while having full-time jobs. Join us at 1209 West 5th Street in Miller beginning February 7 with pre-sale viewing. Then, join us sale day, February 11, for lunch and final viewing.
Initial bids are due to Clay by 3 PM CT on February 11. Cattle will then be bid off via phone,so please plan accordingly. Videos, supplemental information, and more can be found on our website,www.jackpotcattle.com.
