It is one of the country’s architectural icons and, in 1999, was the proud recipient of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos’ Award for Architectural Excellence, the first time it was awarded in Oman. The complex consists of five separate buildings (Bait Al Bagh, Bait Al Dalaleel, Bait Al Oud, Bait Al Nahdhah, and Gallery Sarah), as well as a garden with a number of traditional features, a café, and a gift shop.
FIGC
The Italian Football Federation, founded in 1898, recognised by FIFA in 1905 and a founding member of UEFA in 1954, is the body that organizes and promotes football in Italy.
TThe FIGC’s scope includes: · Promoting and regulating football and its related aspects, combining the professional and amateur game through a central structure. · Pushing for the exclusion of all forms of social discrimination, racism, xenophobia, and violence from football.
The FIGC comprises different professional leagues (Lega Serie A, Lega Serie B and Lega Pro) and amateur leagues (Lega Nazionale Dilettanti), as well as the Italian Referees’ Association Technical bodies (the Italian Players’ Association and the Italian Coaches’ Association), and the Youth and School Sector.
MUSEO DEL CALCIO The Italian Football Museum is located in Coverciano, an iconic place of the Azzurri teams, at the foot of the Florentine Hills. It is the main place of culture, research, and preservation of the historical memory of Italian football. Founded on the initiative of Fino Fini during the extension works of the Federal Technical Centre in Coverciano, in the frame of the 1990 World Cup, the Football Museum was inaugurated in 2000 and now it is a Foundation. It houses the main collection dedicated to the history of the Italian national football team. From the memorabilia of the 1920s to the present day, passing through the great European and world triumphs of the Italian team.
The Museum also preserves objects related to the activities of the women’s national team, youth teams, Italian referees and coaches. A place intended for the study of history, the Museum has an extraordinary documents and images’ archive, together with a special area dedicated to the Hall of Fame, an initiative born in recent years from the close collaboration between the Coverciano Football Museum and the Italian Football Federation.
Giuseppe Dossena
Beppe, is an Italian football manager and former football player, who played as a midfielder. He played for several Italian clubs throughout his career, in particular Torino and Sampdoria, where he won several titles. At international level, he represented the Italian national football team, and was a member of the Italian squad that won the 1982 FIFA World Cup.
With the Italy national side, Dossena received 38 caps between 1981 and 1987, scoring 1 goal. After making 4 appearances in Italy's 1982 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, he was selected as a member of Italy's 1982 FIFA World Cup winning squad, although he was an unused substitute throughout the tournament, despite being given the number 10 shirt.
Later, he started a managing career at international level coaching : Ghana for two years (1998–2000) Ittihad Jeddah of Saudi Arabia (2000-2001) Assistant of Cesare Maldini in Paraguay's appearance at the 2002 FIFA World Cup. Al-Ittihad, Lybia (2002- 2003) And several others
Before embarking on a career as a coach, he attempted that of a manager. On 11 September 1992 he was appointed by Sergio Cragnotti as the new manager of Lazio's youth sector. He subsequently moved to Roma.
On 15 June 1995 he became team manager of Sampdoria. On 17 May 2005 he was appointed director of the technical area of Sambendettese. In 2009, before returning to coaching (in Ethiopia), he was responsible for the "China Project" organized by Parma, with which president Ghirardi intended to establish sporting relations with the Far East.
