WELCOME AZZURRI EXHIBITION

MUSEO DEL CALCIO The Italian Football Museum is located in Coverciano, an iconic place of the Azzurri teams, at the foot of the Florentine Hills. It is the main place of culture, research, and preservation of the historical memory of Italian football. Founded on the initiative of Fino Fini during the extension works of the Federal Technical Centre in Coverciano, in the frame of the 1990 World Cup, the Football Museum was inaugurated in 2000 and now it is a Foundation. It houses the main collection dedicated to the history of the Italian national football team. From the memorabilia of the 1920s to the present day, passing through the great European and world triumphs of the Italian team.

The Museum also preserves objects related to the activities of the women’s national team, youth teams, Italian referees and coaches. A place intended for the study of history, the Museum has an extraordinary documents and images’ archive, together with a special area dedicated to the Hall of Fame, an initiative born in recent years from the close collaboration between the Coverciano Football Museum and the Italian Football Federation.
