CTD Operation and Data Processing ENGINEERING AND CALIBRATION

CTDs are among the most heavily utilized oceanographic equipment at KAUST. They are used every day to measure conductivity/salinity, temperature, and depth (often with many other sensors) at sea or in coastal areas. Proper setup and post deployment care is critical in keeping CTDs in good working order. This course trains users to set up and operate CTD surveys, download data, and validate data. Post deployment instrument care will also be covered. PARTICIPANT PROFILE This course is intended for students and research professionals from KAUST, and their collaborators from academia and industry, who want to have full control over their CTD operations.
