Advanced Workflows for Computational Biology HIGH-PERFORMANCE COMPUTING SERVICES
This course focuses on handling computational biology pipelines for a larger number of jobs with dependency cases. Preparing, running, and managing such a dependent pipeline is not an easy task on Ibex, with heterogeneous resource requirements. In this course, attendees will be introduced to a sample bioinfor- matics pipeline with various job dependency conditions. PARTICIPANT PROFILE This course is intended for research professionals from KAUST who are or are planning to run or develop a workflow/pipeline for computational biology jobs of hundreds or thousands of samples. Basic knowledge of scripting languages like Bash is required.
