The TSQ Quantum GC is an advanced analytical instrument with unsurpassed analytical performance and lab productivity for high-throughput analysis. This course introduces the general theory of chemical separation in a gas phase and tandem mass spectrometry detection, including a discussion of the strengths and weaknesses of this method and general guidance for its applications. This training also includes discussions on sample preparation, instrument configura- tion, method development principles, and software usage. Following this course, the user is expected to be able to independently operate the instrument and perform basic data analysis. PARTICIPANT PROFILE This course is intended for students and research professionals from KAUST, and their collaborators from academia and industry. PREREQUISITES • Active Badger account
