The Automated Sample Extraction instrument is used for the extraction of organ- ic compounds from different matrices such as plant, soil, food, and others using pressurized solvents such as hexane, dichloromethane, etc. This course intro- duces operational skills and parameter selections Automated Sample Extraction Using Heated and Pressurized Solvents. Following this course, the user is expected to be able to independently operate the instrument. PARTICIPANT PROFILE This course is intended for students and research professionals from KAUST, and their collaborators from academia and industry. PREREQUISITES • Active Badger account

The Automated Dry Vaporizer and Concentrator can be used to focus and con- centrate analytes of interest in a solvent via evaporation. This course introduces the operational skills and parameter selections of the device. Following this course, the user is expected to be able to independently operate the instrument.
