Real House

In a perfect world, Real House Inc. wouldn’t exist. There would be no substance abuse, no homelessness, no need for the services they provide. But we are not living in a perfect world. In a slightly less perfect world, Real House would be able to serve everyone who needed help at zero cost, and would be able to spread care across the country. But sadly, we are farther from perfect than we would often like to admit. At a time when nancial concerns can make the difference between saving a life and watching someone fall through the cracks, Real House is now asking for help in making the world a little more perfect. REACHING OUT For the rst time in their 12-year history, Real House is launching a fundraising campaign to try to raise the money necessary to continue their mission of helping the area’s most vulnerable. All of the money goes directly into care services, and staff say it can make a real difference in the lives of those who need it the most. “This fundraiser gives families, friends, associates and strangers an opportunity to help out someone who would be on the street if not for that funding,” says Roz Miller Choice, Real House’s fundraising spokesperson. “When you are contributing to Real House, your dollars are truly going to improving someone's life.” When talking about the fundraising effort, which has a goal of $75,000, Miller Choice says it’s not about Real House’s needs, but the needs of the women these funds will help. “Without the funding, these women could potentially remain on the streets because they have run out of options,” Miller Choice says.
